Creating Poetry (Boudoir, Dudoir, Ropebunny Shibari, Suspension)

You’re right, most Boudoir sessions are in the thousands! My pricing model caters to everyday, working people who desire to capture their sensuality without breaking the bank. In short, I’ve deliberately struck a balance between high quality art and financial accessibility. Everyone deserves to gift themselves in my book.

Everyone is excited including models with experience. That’s natural. Chances are you’re moving yourself outside your comfort zone, maybe for the first time. I can tell you that through our consultation process, you and I are developing trust and familiarity along the way. You will also have a good idea what we will be shooting so there are no surprises. Usually within the first 20mns those jitters evolve into excitement which fuel our time. There’s never a time where you will do something you don’t want to do nor a pose that you won’t be directed in how to achieve it. Trust me!

Absolutely not. Your level of reveal is entirely up to you. I follow your lead, simple as that. Many decide to be wardrobed for the majority of our shoot and, as their comfort rises, they decide to reveal more. On the other end, if all nude is your interest, we will do it.

If you are 18, male, female or a couple we will create together. Thin, buxom, rubenesque, Nubian, curvy, pregnant, tall, short, muscular types are perfect. Your shape is yours, and as such contains your beauty and strength. I’ve created with males, young and midlife couples, women in their 20s through mid-60s. We discuss what you love about your body and emphasize those attributes as well as addressing your sensitivities through, posing, positioning, wardrobe, shadow shaping, lighting, and sheers to cover.

You decide before our collaboration if you’d like to share our art in my marketing and advertising or, preserve limited or full anonymity. No image is ever made public if you tell me not to. If you do decide to make our art public, even then no image will be shared without your blessing. Remember, you lead.

Your final, edited digital images are yours to share as you please provided no additional editing takes place and, you retain the MarcoBoudoir copyright in the image.

You can email, IM, text, call, or send currier pidgins to discuss in greater detail or ask any questions you may have to shape your decision. Once we find a date, a deposit of 200$ is used to secure the shoot and off we go, developing our set!

The key to our time is your comfort and trust so if bringing someone assists in that, of course. I may put them to work when they’re not drinking your wine fanning you or adjusting the lights. I do have two rules. One: They must not disrupt our rhythm or inhibit your freedom to express yourself. This is your time. Two: No other photography can take place including those by cell phones.

Once we secure a shoot date, we’re off and running! We begin the consultation through discussion of who you are, what you love about you, what sensitivities you may have, what images you like or what new ones interest you, why are you doing boudoir and what you will gain from our experience. Additionally, we discuss wardrobe ideas, makeup, posing, facial expressions, whether we are going for playfulness or seduction or a combination of both.

As we evolve, we build your customized set and our professional relationship. Once we have decided together, I send you the image set as a rough draft where we edit, subtract or add. After adjustments, we have our 2-hour shoot in my home-studio with wine, chocolates, and a musical mood accompaniment along with candlelight ambiance.

After the shoot, I do a quick edit and let you know how many images will go through a complete edit. I then send you a link to those images where you select which ones you’d like. As your final list is complete, I do a final edit of those images only that includes web or print resolution preparation and a final polish. Then, the images are sent to you to marvel at and embrace!
